The fact that Alex Turner and Miles Kane were able to turn this song into something I am actually willing to listen to is extremely impressive.
Agreed. I love them.
Is this snobbery? Is the song any better really just because it’s being performed by credible artists? Presumably they liked the songwriting or they wouldn’t have bothered covering it..

“I don’t believe that Rihanna isn’t a credible artist. I simply enjoy the style of music and tone that TLSP use much more than what Rihanna uses.”
I suppose I was questioning myself as much as anyone else, as I pretty much agree with her.They’d never better her version of Umbrella, obviously..

Torrent Freak let a (rather attractive) musician (whose music i have never heard) give her views against illegal file-sharing. She makes some good points.
I’ve just had a very interesting meeting about this subject with someone who has come with a project that provides an alternative, great value way for people to receive new music for a very minimal cost without putting the musicians out of pocket.

Winning Wimbledon comes at a heavy price. In my case it’s seeing the Rossdale-Stefanis ugly mugs every TWO MINUTES.
Don’t normally watch the tennis but that was a pretty amazing match, well done to Nadal.
